Stock in, rates set
The weight that arrived is booked in and each type of chicken gets today's rate. Done once, before the first customer - nothing to decide again during the rush.

How a shop actually uses it
- Morning
Log the stock that came in
Enter the weight that arrived and set today's rate per kg. Opening stock and rate are fixed for the day in one go.
- Through the day
Bill each sale at the counter
Weight in, amount out. Walk-ins are done in seconds; regulars get the sale added to their running udhar balance instead.
- As money comes in
Record how they paid
Cash, UPI, PhonePe or Google Pay. Balances update themselves, and the bill goes out printed or over WhatsApp.
- Evening
Close the day
Stock sold, stock left, wastage, collections and udhar are already totalled. The day's profit is there before you pull the shutter down.
Running a shop and supplying other shops?
It is the same app and the same account. A shop mostly records counter sales settled the same day, with a handful of credit regulars. A dealer supplies many shops and carries a larger running balance for each one. The rate, weight, payment and reporting screens are identical - so if your shop grows into supplying others, nothing needs to be set up again.

FAQ
How it works in a shop
Pricing questions are answered on the pricing page. Anything else, call the number in the footer - we answer the phone.
- It replaces the notebook kept at the counter. You book in the day's stock, set the rate for each type of chicken, bill each sale by weight, track which regular customers still owe money, and close the day with the profit already worked out - from a phone at the counter rather than adding up a register at night.
- Yes. Each chicken type carries its own rate per kg, set once for the day. When you bill a sale you pick the type and the amount is calculated from that type's rate, so nothing has to be worked out in your head during the rush.
- You enter the weight that came in. As you bill sales through the day the sold and balance figures move on their own, so you can see how much is left without weighing what is in the counter. Wastage and mortality are recorded separately so the numbers still reconcile at closing.
- Each regular has a running balance. Every sale adds to it and every payment reduces it automatically, so you can check what someone owes before serving them instead of guessing at the end of the month.
- Yes. Bills can be printed or sent straight over WhatsApp, which is what most counters actually use rather than a billing machine.
- No. ChickenPro is a web application that opens in any browser - a desktop or laptop at the shop, a tablet at the counter, or a phone when you are out. Nothing to install and no hardware to buy.
- A shop holds stock and sells over a counter, so it tracks stock in, sold and balance, and closes out a day. A dealer supplies many shops and carries a larger running balance per party, so it tracks loads, box and net weight, and party-wise udhar. It is one login - if your shop grows into supplying others, nothing needs setting up again.
