Privacy Policy

ChickenPro is operated by ChickenPro, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We are the data fiduciary for the information described in this policy.

Account information. Your name, business or shop name, mobile number, email address and business address, provided when you create an account or request a demo.

Business data you enter. Sales entries, weights, rates, customer and business-user records, balances, payments, expenses and invoices. This is your data - we process it only to provide the service to you.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. We receive a transaction reference and status; we never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.

Technical information. IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and to diagnose faults.

We use the information above to:

• Provide, operate and maintain the ChickenPro application.
• Calculate balances, generate invoices and produce your reports.
• Process subscription payments and issue receipts.
• Respond to support requests and demo enquiries.
• Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• Comply with applicable Indian law, including tax and accounting requirements.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not sell or share the business data you enter with advertisers.

The chickenpro.in marketing site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. It stores two values in your browser's local storage - your theme choice and accent colour - purely so the site looks the same on your next visit. Neither is sent to us or to anyone else.

When you submit the demo form, the details you type are used to compose a WhatsApp message that you then choose to send. Nothing is transmitted to our servers from that form.

We share information only with:

• Service providers who host our infrastructure, process payments or deliver email and messages on our behalf, bound by contract to use it only for that purpose.
• Legal authorities, where disclosure is required by law, court order or a valid governmental request.
• A successor entity, if the business is merged or acquired - you will be notified before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We keep your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your business data within 90 days, except where a longer period is required by tax, accounting or other legal obligations. You can request an export of your data before closing your account.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on access-controlled infrastructure. Access to production data is limited to personnel who need it to operate or support the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately at support@chickenpro.in if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

• Confirm what personal data we hold about you and obtain a copy.
• Correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
• Erase your personal data where we have no continuing lawful basis to keep it.
• Withdraw a consent you previously gave.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Write to support@chickenpro.in and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

ChickenPro is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact support@chickenpro.in and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be announced in the application or by email before they take effect, and the “last updated” date above will change. Continuing to use ChickenPro after an update means you accept the revised policy.
